Two Thousand Six Hundred and Nineteen years ago the Assyrian empire fell (612BC). During this vast span of time many great civilizations have come and gone. But, for 2619 years (and counting) the Assyrian people have struggled and survived with no officially recognized country and/or government of their own, a great accomplishment in itself!
